There have been so many strong contenders for my picks in jackets and jewels. Gryphon always has innovative and edgy outerwear, so I'm always excited to see what they have for Fall. I'm on the hunt for great statement jewelry pieces too, so I'm sharing some current favorites. I also have to share my new furry fashion friend, Alfie, Assistant, Dylan in his cat ear hat (thanks, Eugenia Kim) and Victoria's and my obsession for Dig Inn and their Serious Green raw juice.

I was dying over Rag and Bone's Fall runway collection and I love it even more now that I've seen it in person. They are tailoring masters and menswear and workwear touches are their signature. The dominant inspiration for this season was aviation with vintage flight suits and colors from various aviation jobs as a reference point. Here are some of the highlights.

You can always expect colorful and luxurious bags from British designer, Anya Hindmarch and her Fall '13 collection was no exception. She's been designing bags and clutches for the red carpet and chic-on-the-street for many years and her witty touches make her my go-to bag every season. Here are the highlights from the collection.

Our best seller for several seasons, this cross body has all the signature Anya Hindmarch interior compartments. And this red is the perfect red.

As a small business owner, I love supporting local businesses exclusively, whether it's a little coffee shop, a place to buy pastries or my favorite book store, Chaucer's. In a world that's becoming more and more homogenized, it's so important to hold on to all the things that make your town special and unique. I'm proud to say that I bought all my Christmas presents from local businesses in my hometown, Santa Barbara. So this weekend, if you have more gifts to buy, go local! Happy shopping!! Ho Ho Ho.

From animal prints to stripes, winkle picker toes to chunky ankle straps and buckles, Paris Fashion Week showed us that your feet never take a back seat. These shoes are made to be the star of the show. Chloe and Marc Jacobs led the pack and here are some of my favorites, including some sites that can only be Paris. Top row, Chloe shoes. Day one was a success! I'm so excited by the spring 2013 collection from Pedro Garcia. From the runway to the streets, kitten heels are making a comeback and Pedro Garcia offers up some patent nude pumps and sandals to give your legs a "go-on-forever" look. Instant wardrobe staples. The wonderful Pedro Garcia duo, Andreas and Galia and highlights from their Spring 2013 collection. Loving the metal post kitten heels! Look for the Day. The perfect everyday pant with a not so everyday red stripe. A common scene on the streets of Paris. You dress to impress! And, I'm so impressed that they walk with ease in sky high heels. So French! Oh, The Pomp and Pleasure that is Anya Hindmarch

Anya Hindmarch showed her Spring/Summer 2013 collection at the Gramercy Park Hotel. The suite was a perfect backdrop to the "Pomp and Pleasure" theme of the collection, drawing inspiration from 18th Century English gentry and all their finery. A sophisticated color palette of cream, grey, tan and chocolate was accentuated by pops of bluebell, emerald, coral, mustard, celadon green and fuchsia. Elegant shapes were designed to be worn in a modern way cross body with striking contrast colour straps, hard clutches feature faceted sides inlaid with shagreen and huge leather tassels swung from bright pouches. The collection was filled with luxury and cameo brooch detailing and the hardware was based on vintage bags Anya has admired. Cheeky touches are alway present in her collections and she keeps that British humor alive with saucy printed canvas clutches and totes. Saucy and Sophisticated The perfect combo! The Gramercy Park Hotel is a must-do when in NYC, even if just to stand in awe at the clever design and rich upholsteries and artwork. It's a feast for the eyes!
