diani living: Nesting
The terracotta pots we painted last weekend finally got planted with succulents this weekend and placed on our “ugly” wall. It’s not so ugly anymore! Such a fun project and such great results. Here’s a look at the outcome.
Yesterday was the perfect day to get some projects going in the garden. We have been doing a lot of landscaping lately and now it’s time for finishing touches.
We have a wall that needs some greenery, so decided to take all the terracotta pots we’ve had lying around and paint them white. Some of them we masked off to make terracotta bands and stripes. We’re planting them with succulents we bought and can’t wait to see the results!
Plum likes to help.
Raisin likes to watch.
I’ll show you the finished project later in the week! ( Because we didn’t get it all done yet) Happy Monday!
I LOVE gardens and luckily we have a decent sized piece of land looking across the canyon. Since our wedding reception is being held at our home, now is a perfect time to work on having the garden I always dreamed of. I’ve called on a team of like-minded experts to transform our outdoor space into a Provence inspired wonderland. I’ll share more pictures periodically as the project progresses. I’m so excited!
Texture and shades of green always inspire me in a garden and here are some of my starting points for the direction of our new garden.
My fiancé and I went to the Rose Bowl Flea Market in Pasadena last Sunday and braved the 38 degree weather. What they say is true… it’s AMAZING! We got there early to beat the crowds, and claim some choice pieces. And it paid off. We found some super cool treasures. So, the next time you’re in Pasadena, be sure to check it out and bring your walking shoes cause it’s massive!
