I just touched down in NYC for a week of buying for DIANI. It may be cold, but there’s so many hot-off-the-runways looks to pick through, that I’m excited to get outside and hit the city. Kick Off! New York Fashion Week

As I pack my bags once again for two weeks in NYC, buying for Spring/Summer 2013, I’m often asked about the glamour and the glitz of fashion week. I won’t deny that that is all a part of the fun, but for real trend-casting, I spend more time looking at the sidewalk than the catwalk. It’s on the concrete, where the muses of the designers, the models, effortlessly display what they really like to wear (and they’re so much more accessible there too). So, stay tuned!
