Habitually Chic
This weekend, I was thrilled with the honor of being featured on the gorgeous lifestyle blog, Habitually Chic. In the article, blog author, Heather Clawson shows you around my beachy Santa Barbara pad. If you haven’t vistited her blog yet, click here. It’s uber chic (and a great place to get ideas for your own home)!

Easy Breezy – A.L.C
I’m loving all the soft flowy dresses coming out for summer from A.L.C. Perfect for our Santa Barbara climate. Wearable alone during the day and throw on a cropped leather jacket for evening. Add the Rag & Bone Newbury boot in chili….hot!

Memorial Day Madonnari
Madonnari, or street painters, transform the Mission plaza in Santa Barbara using pastels on pavement to create 150 vibrant and colorful large scale images. The festival benefits the Children’s Creative Project, a nonprofit arts education program of the Santa Barbara County Education Office. The Project serves 50,000 children in more than 100 schools with visual and performing arts workshops and performances throughout Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties. Festival goes through the end of today and is free!

From The Nest
Here are a few of my favorite spaces in my home.
The first thing I see when I walk in are photos of my father and me, and my sister holding me as a baby. The roses were a gift from my best friend’s garden. Wall photo art by Jeff Clark.
Photo art was a gift from my boyfriend. The large scale image was shot whilst on our most recent trip to Kenya.
My favorite candle scent, Baies by Diptyque.
The best reading chair ever that I found at ABC Carpet and Home in NYC and had re-upholstered. It’s 17th Century Flemish and still going strong. The pillow is a gift from a close friend in England. A reminder of where I’m from.
My snuggle buddy, Raisin. Everyone should have one.
Two wooden love birds found on a recent trip to England.
My kitchen, a bright and breezy space to feel inspired in.
