DIANI Living

I Do!

I know, I know, I’m like a pen pal who never writes. I’m hoping that a home remodel and planning a wedding, all while running a business are good enough excuses and that all is not lost on my little blog. I’ve been intending to write more often, if that does anything for my case?

Well, to bring you up to speed, our home and garden are looking insanely gorgeous, thanks to a team of super talented local craftsmen. I’ll share pictures with you soon, so you can see what we’ve been up to.

And in other news, we’re getting married on Saturday!!!! As I type that, a butterfly flutters around in my belly and my hands get clammy. OMG!! It’s here! Friends and family have arrived, the garden has enough lights to light up the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center and there are swaths of white fabric as far as the eye can see. OMG! It’s finally here!

If I don’t get to write much in the coming days, I’ll try to at least post some pics of what’s happening. And, thanks for hanging in there with me while I took care of my crazy life. You beautiful fashionistas are the best. xoxo

My Bridal Shower look – Chloe head-to-toe.

Wedding invitation designed by my awesome bridesmaid, Gail of Gail Bryson.

Vintage table linens found in Newcastle by my awesome bridesmaid, Gail.

Our traditional Wedding Cake made by Sweet Lady Jane has been marinating in rum for the past month. We snuck a peek one day.

Vintage English china hand picked and collected all over Newcastle at flea markets. Thanks to, yup, you guessed it, my awesome bridesmaid, Gail (and her sisters).

More of the vintage china we’ll be using at the wedding. It all arrived from England in one piece!

Our ring designer, Sylva Yepremian of SN Queens┬ádesigned these beauties and she asked if they could be my, “something borrowed”. Ummm, YES!!! Vintage diamonds and pearls.

The color palette for the bridesmaids and groomsmen.

My beautiful DIANI family gave me a gift card to La Perla! Oooh La La…..Puuurrrr….

My wedding dress by the crazy talented, Monique Lhuillier. It’s the first dress I tried on and I’ve been dreaming about it ever since.

Many blessings on your amazing weekend! Remember, every moment from this moment is one to treasure for a taste later. If things should arise whether it is a stress, a sudden problem, whatever, ask for help, allow others to be there to take care of you and your needs. You don’t have to control everything because if you try, you will miss so many things you will later regret missing.

Be the divine being that you are and inspire those around you by just letting go and letting magic take place.
