The Uganda Njulu Open Weave Bowl is crafted out of bukedo and raffia to create a strong, yet beautiful piece for your home. Bukedo is the local term in Uganda for banana leaf stalks and raffia comes from palm trees. Both materials are renewable, plentiful resources. These baskets are traditionally used for serving food in Uganda, but they also look great mounted on a wall or propped on a shelf or table. This is a fair trade product and the mission is to support women through the promotion of their handcrafts.
Do not submerge or wash with water.
